About Community Ledger

Community Ledger connects community organisations (sports clubs, charities, not-for-profits) with vetted service vendors: mortgage brokers, car finance, insurance, accounting and bookkeeping.

A club puts a QR code on its website, newsletter, or clubroom wall. A member scans it, says what they need help with, and submits their details. We work out which vendor handles that service for that club and send the lead straight to them. The vendor does the work off-system. Later, they tell us the outcome and the commission value. We take a margin for making the connection happen, and pay the club the rest.

The club raises money without running a sausage sizzle. The member gets pointed at someone vetted. The vendor gets a warm lead. Everyone wins a little.

The hard part of this business was never the software. It's trust and vendor honesty. So the platform is built around making the whole loop visible: every email sent, every outcome recorded, every commission calculated is logged, and we independently check with members that what a vendor reported actually happened.
